The Imagination Gym is a research and creation laboratory led by Les 2 Mondes. It provides artists with a space of freedom to experiment beyond conventional production frameworks.

Each edition revolves around a central theme — memory, territory, silence, etc. — which serves as a starting point for a series of stage explorations. Authors, performers, designers, and directors bring their imaginations together to create a living, intuitive, and untamed artistic material.

Improvisations, cross-discussions, spontaneous gestures, soundscapes, textual fragments… The Gym values fertile doubt, poetic impulse, and the collision of sensibilities.

Two editions have taken place so far, in 2019 and 2021, reflecting Les 2 Mondes’ commitment to supporting free, collective, and constantly evolving artistic research.
