1, 2, 3, nous avons des droits
Stage adaptation of the book-and-record Droits d’enfants by Léopoldine Gorret and Denis Alber.
A musical, theatrical, and multimedia performance for young audiences aged 6 and up. The production is the result of a collaboration between Cie de l’Ovale (Switzerland) and Cie Les Deux Mondes (Quebec/Canada), in co-production with Théâtre du Crochetan in Monthey and Petit Théâtre in Lausanne.
The show tells the story of Monsieur du Ballon, an endearing character who, from a very young age, receives a large book entitled United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. His mother gives him this magical book, telling him that it will help him grow and fulfill his destiny : to become a singer and a great advocate for children. Through animal-themed songs, Monsieur du Ballon reminds children of their fundamental rights : the right to protection, to education, to healthcare, and to a decent life.
