Rooted in Felix Salten’s tale Bambi, Faon is a contemporary fable that draws from the past to reveal the shadows of today.
It is through a series of tableaux with surrealistic touches that this story, told from multiple perspectives, unfolds. That of a child who must survive the absence of their mother ; that of a woman who finds escape as her only means of survival ; that of a journey back through time to build oneself and find understanding. A story haunted by the shadow of a man and his violence, and subtly threaded with images of forest, hunting, and the beloved figure of David Bowie…
Set to the original music of Viviane Audet, Faon takes us on a journey along the paths of memory, fear, and resilience.
