It’s the magic of poetry — the magic of Philippe Dorin’s language, who knows better than anyone how to play freely with words and open wide the doors of theatre to children’s imagination.

This tender and gentle production evokes the passage of time and the wear of the years. It enchants children aged 8 and up, who remain spellbound, captivated by the dreamlike world it unfolds.” — La Bible Urbaine

A little girl takes us on a tour of her imaginary house ; when the lights go out and come back on, she has become an old woman in a house that suddenly seems far too small.

Then a mysterious visitor appears at the door and tells the old woman that she is going to die. How is that possible ? Just yesterday, she was a child. Proof of it : the very same shoes she still wears.

To die, yes — but not before returning her shoes to the little girl…
